delayed my appt by 30 mins, took 2+ hours for a full set, was told it was going to be £30 on the phone when i made my deposit and when the treatment was finished they made me pay £42 not including my student discount. not impressed with this service and false information and will not be returning.

Simply the best!
After years of having treatments and searching for a regular spot for consistency, I finally tried Marco Benito after being recommended by a friend and I have not looked back! Not only are the products great quality , the service I receive from start to finish is excellent every time. The salon can be busy at times but staff are still friendly, the atmosphere is still relaxed and the experience is enjoyable. The location is perfect, easy to find and parking is nearby. Staff are well trained, professional and are great at offering advice on treatments.
Thank you ladies!

I have been having a manicures and pedicures with Marco Benito for about a year and I cannot fault the actual service. Until recently there were quite a few long standing staff members and having been elsewhere in Birmingham before, the service at MB WAS unbeatable. The reason I have rated only 3 stars is because of the owners rather than the staff who work there. Most long term staff members have had to leave due to how they are treated and now they are understaffed and are unable provide a good service to customers as everyone there is new. Staff members rarely get a lunch break, working long hours and get told 'everyone is replaceable'. I don't want to support a business who treats is staff members that way!

Acrylics with gel were bumpy in polish, the manicurist was abrupt and actually drew blood when buffering my nail bed. For which she made no form of apology/did not offer a small discount. In fact, the charge was significantly greater than that of other salons (most charge £33 but Mint charged £55).

Recently visited the salon was seen by Amy T. Really could not fault anything. Amy is friendly, felt totally at ease, and have already booked my next appointment with her. So happy with my nails. Highly recommend. Thank you Amy T.

Sorry to say that the gel polish is not as good as I would hope, bumpy in places and after a week already lifting off. Perhaps I was unlucky but its not what I would expect and expensive if it doesn't last. I certainly won't be recommending it to colleagues.

I would not recommend this place ever. I went to have a gel nails done...I came back out looking like my nails were done by a two year and that’s not even an exaggeration. I’ve been having my nails done for years by different places so I’m not new to this and know what to expect. The nails were not plush from the cuticles. It was way way way too thick. And the lady was really really rude treating me like i am clueless. I walked out hiding my nails, calling into work the next day to book off as emergency holiday just so I can go elsewhere and spend a further £50 to have my nails looking even half decent again, it was THAT bad. I had stopped a lot work colleagues and friends from going that sharing my experience. One colleague took it upon herself to make the judgement and she came back regretting not listening to me! Don’t waste your time or money here!! P.S I only rated it 1 star as it would not let me submit without a rating...
